قبيلة بدوية ترتحل بحثًا عن المراعي الخصبة لمواشيها، وتختار نصب خيامها قرب وادي الطيور. لكن طائر “ملهي الرعيان” ألحق ضررًا كبيرًا بالقطعان. انقسمت الآراء بين فريق يريد القضاء على تلك الطيور، وآخر يحذر من عواقب ذلك على الطبيعة. ما سرُّ هذه الطيور الصغيرة؟ وشجرة السَمُر “المشؤومة” في قلب الوادي؟ وكيف تصرف أمير القبيلة وفرسانها؟ ولمن كانت الغلبة بالنهاية؟ حكاية مشوقة عن حياة البدو بحلوها ومرِّها، ومغامرات لا تخلو من الطرافة.
