Using a dual flash head design that is mounted to the front of your lens, this flash provides excellent control over the position of the light and how it will hit the subject. This system provides coverage of 90 upwards and downwards as well as horizontally 60 inwards and 30 outwards, with the ability to rotate the adapter ring 50 upwards and 30 downwards as well. These heads also feature excellent power with a guide number of 85' at ISO 100 for a single head or 79' at ISO 100 when both flash heads are in use. While TTL is supported, full manual control is available from 1/1 to 1/128 power in 1/3-stop increments. Users of TTL can access a ratio mode that offers a wide range of 8:1 to 1:1 to 1:8 in 1/2 EV steps. For additional help, an LED autofocus assist light is present on the YN-24EX and users have access to both 1st and 2nd curtain sync.
