YOU ARE A BEGINNER SURFER
You are learning to surf or surf only a few times a year, during your holidays or a surf trip. You stay where you can touch the bottom, in tiny waves or broken waves. You surf for the pleasure of being in the water and for the feeling you get from it. During your sessions, you often fall but you fall in waves that are not very powerful. We have designed a wide range of swimwear for you, to suit your occasional practice and your body shape.
ACTIVE AT THE BEACH!
Whether you be a surfer or enjoy bathing in the sea, you don’t want to lose your swimsuit! This is why we test all our swimsuits in the waves. Each model is designed for surfing and perfectly suits other water sports: stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, kite surfing, bathing, etc.
Body shape
With its simple and feminine cut, straight neck and back, the beautiful Dora swimsuit has an elegant drape covering the stomach which creates a flat stomach effect. It also has a 360-degree body-sculpting lining that redefines and perfects the silhouette. Its design gives it excellent resistance to wear and very good bust support, making it suitable for a variety of body shapes.
STAYS IN PLACE IN THE WAVES: THE TEST
We design swimsuits that promise to stay in place in the waves. To test them, we use a panel of female surfers with different body shapes who will follow a test protocol in a pool at our design offices in Hendaye. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by surfers when being thrown around by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing in the sea to test our swimwear in real conditions.
WHAT ARE PADDED CUPS?
Integrated cups in the top enhance the curve of the bust. Unlike cut and stitched foam pads, the shaped cups built in to the swimsuit top are flattering for your bust and sculpt your breasts into a rounded shape without having visible seams and avoiding irritation. To ensure your optimal comfort, OLAIAN uses padded cups in most of its swimsuit models.
COMFORTABLE IN OUR SWIMWEAR
We strive to support women to ensure they feel comfortable in our swimwear. The chest is not squashed, the buttocks are not emphasised, coverage levels vary. Our mission is to ensure that every woman finds a swimming costume that suits her, whatever her body type or size.
Body-sculpting flat tummy effect
With its body-sculpting lining, this swimsuit elegantly erases any imperfections you may perceive in your figure. It readjusts certain areas of your body, leaving you with a totally redefined waist.
Dry sizing and wet sizing
To ensure a perfect fit in the water, it is important to choose the right size while you are dry because once they are in the water, swimsuits become looser. We therefore recommend you buy the correct size. The swimsuit needs to fit snugly against your body in the fitting room, you should feel supported. The elastane content in certain components used in the design of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.
REMOVAL OF PLASTIC HYGIENE STICKERS FROM OUR SWIMWEAR
From 2022, all women's swimsuits designed by Decathlon will be sold without plastic hygiene stickers. This dcision was made to help protect our reduce plastic use. Saving 940 km of plastic every year!Please do your bit by always keeping your underwear on in our changing rooms.

Is the size or style not suitable for you? Would you like to exchange it at your Decathlon store? No problem, just be sure not to cut off the label of the swimsuit in case you want to exchange it.
OLAIAN, DECATHLON'S SURF BRAND
Based in Hendaye, in South West France, OLAIAN is Decathlon's new surfing and bodyboarding brand. In our offices at the water's edge, we can design a swimsuit and then on the same day test it directly in the sea to check it stays in place in the waves.
This women's one-piece swimsuit is ultra body-sculpting thanks to its 360° lining and features pretty draped fabric on the stomach, a built-in bra and wide, straight straps for good support.
