Silver Leaf

This is a BOOK SINGLE item. Each Book Single contains 25 imitation silver leaf sheets. This item is also called "composition silver leaf". Looks and feels like Genuine Silver Leaf for a lower price! This is loose leaf. The leaves are placed in paper booklets, loosely inlaid in 25 compartments, one for each leaf. To cut the leaf, one may take it from the booklet with the gilding knife and place it on the gilding cushion or drop it directly from the booklet onto the gilding cushion. Then, pick up the leaf with the gilder's tip and place it onto the prepared surface. Imitation silver leaf is made from pure Aluminum. Standard dimension of each leaf is 5½" x 5½".
