To ensure your child's well-being and safety, all our sleeping bags comply with standard NF EN 16781 dated February 2020. The purpose of this safety standard is to ensure your baby is kept safe. It specifically relates to the width of the neck opening to prevent the risk of a child slipping down inside the sleeping bag and suffocating, and also relates to the thickness of the sleeping bag to prevent any risk of overheating (which is extremely dangerous for young babies), therefore the TOG rating must not be too high.
Our sleeping bags are now designed to meet this new standard, which is why you'll see that the neck widths are now smaller and the padding is also thinner.
The TOG tested in the laboratory and rated from 1 to 10 indicates the thermal resistance of the sleeping bag. The higher the TOG, the warmer the sleeping bag.Warning!
