After being falsely accused of murdering the man who raised him, Rudo was dropped into the Pit, where horrible monsters called trash beasts roam and the very air is toxic. But there are people known as Givers who have the power to defeat these beasts and Rudo is one of them. If Rudo wants to have any hope of discovering a way back to his home and finding the true killer, he must first navigate this new world. The first step is joining an organization of trash beast exterminators called "The Cleaners," whose boss might just have information Rudo needs.
