أنا فاطمة رواية اجتماعيّة مؤثّرة تبدأ بلحظة مؤلمة، تتعرّض فيها فاطمة – الفتاة السّوداء – للعنصريّة بشكل صادم. ولكنّ فاطمة ترفض الاستسلام للظّلم، وتتمتّع بروح قويّة وعزيمة لا تقهر، وتقرّر خوض معركة ضدّ العنصريّة بكلّ ما أوتيت من قوّة. تُلهم الرواية اليافعين وتشجّعهم على التّمسّك بمبادئهم والوقوف ضدّ الظّلم، وتُظهر أنّ لون البشرة لا يُحدّد قيمة الإنسان، وأنّ لكلّ شخص الحقّ في أن يعيش حياة كريمة.
