Aqua Stics are oil pastel sticks of exceptional water solubility, high pigmentation and rich color laydown. In addition to their extra softness and brilliant colors, they score with their excellent lightfastness. All Aqua Stic colors are rated either in category Lightfast 1 (LF1) or Lightfast 2 (LFII) of altogether five categories (see chart). They are highly recommended for numerous applications, such as watercolor, encaustic and sgraffito and can be used on various surfaces, e.g. paper, cardboard, canvas, wood, leather, glass and mirrors.
