These are electromechanical geared motors made by Beninca for automating swing gates (i.e. gates that open by pivoting). They are irreversible (self-locking), with mechanical stops, sometimes add encoder for precision, and are powered by mains (230 Vac) or in some variants 24 Vdc for heavier duty.
BOB21M – Swing Gate Motor
Irreversible 230 Vac electromechanical geared motor designed for swing gates with leaf length up to 2.1 m. It features dual adjustable stops, a rolled ball screw (Ø 20 mm), and an easy top access release mechanism. With a duty cycle of 30 % and capable thrust of ~1,800 N, it offers silent, reliable operation for residential gates.
BOB30 / BOB30ME – Swing Gate Motor with Encoder Option
This 230 Vac geared motor is suitable for gates up to 3.0 m per leaf. Standard BOB30 offers reliable performance; the “ME” variant adds an integrated encoder for enhanced precision, obstacle detection, and safety. It delivers thrust ~2,300 N, supports mechanical stops, and is ideal for heavier residential gates.
BOB50 / BOB50M
A heavy-duty swing gate automation motor suitable for large gates (up to 5.0 m per leaf). The 230 Vac version (BOB50M) uses mechanical stops; the ME version includes encoder. The 24 Vdc variant (BOB5024E) supports more intensive use, solar or battery power, and more frequent cycles. Thrust ~3,500 N in the 230 Vac model.
