The SteamOne George Black Garment Steamer is equipped with a pause system

• This system works by means of an infrared sensor in the holder, which makes contact with the base unit. 2 AAA batteries are included for this. If these batteries run out (average lifespan 4 months) the steamer can still be used, but the pause mode will not work.
  
• When you turn on the George it will automatically generate steam. The pause mode will be activated when you remove the steam head from the steam head holder and place it back.
  

Tips for steaming clothes quickly and easily

• With one hand, pull the clothing taut, with the other hand, move the steam head along the clothing. (Make sure the steam plate touches the clothing)
  
• Steam shirts, tops or sweaters from the inside; position the steam head at the top of the garment and pull the steam head towards you, causing the fabric to slide over the steam head
  
• Set the steam output depending on the type of fabric; Use the maximum steam output for thicker fabrics, cotton and linen. Use the eco setting for thinner fabrics.
  
• If you want to steam multiple garments, use your own hangers so you can change more quickly.
