The Huawei S380-S8T2T is a gateway in the eKitEngine series. It combines the functions of a router and a Layer 3 managed switch and is equipped with two WAN ports (Gigabit Ethernet) and eight LAN ports (Gigabit Ethernet). The maximum switching throughput is 16 Gbps, and the throughput is 2 Gbps. The S380-S8T2T can support up to 300 users and includes DHCP server/client, DNS client, PPPoE client, ACLs, and NAT. Management is performed via a web interface, application, or SSH. The device supports WAN bandwidth balancing (load balancing) based on IP address and connection type. All WAN ports can be used simultaneously. The enclosure is designed for installation in a 19" rack cabinet and uses passive cooling. The gateway has a built-in AC power supply, with a maximum power consumption of only 10.55 W.
