Description
The Specialita’ is fitted with 55 mm flat burrs and a stepless micrometric adjustment. Pair this with an incredibly intuitive touch screen for single, double, and manual doses and you will soon understand why this coffee grinder soon became our all-time best seller. There are also other features that you won’t see but you will definitely notice when grinding the coffee: Eureka’s silent technology, for instance, makes it up to 10 dB quieter than the previous generation allowing you to prepare your early morning coffee without waking up the whole family. Moreover, the ACE System (Anti-Clumps & Electrostaticity System) avoids the creation of clumps by eliminating the electrostatic charge of the ground coffee giving you incredibly consistent and linear doses.
PROS
Bigger burrs: unlike the Perfetto or the Silenzio, this coffee grinder is fitted with 55 mm burrs instead of 50 mm which enables it to grind up to 1.8 g of coffee each second.
Design and Functionality: we believe that the Mignon more than any other coffee grinder manages to successfully mix a clean and compact design without sacrificing the many incredible innovations fitted in Eureka’s professional coffee grinders.
The Silence: the Specialita’ is extremely silent compared to any conventional coffee grinder. This makes it ideal for apartments with thin walls where the noise can easily spread.
THINGS TO CONSIDER
For Espresso Lovers: if you stick to espresso, then this is the one to go for. With bigger burrs and the adjustable fork as standard, this coffee grinder is focused for a home barista layout. If you like to pass between different coffee styles, then we recommend the more versatile Eureka Mignon Perfetto.
Careful with the hopper: the plastic hopper and the lid on top in particular, are fragile and can break if dropped.
