Compatibility & Important Information
- Fast Ethernet Limitation: The WAN and LAN ports support a maximum negotiated link speed of 100 Mbps. The AC1200 Wi-Fi rating does not mean the router has Gigabit Ethernet ports.
- Wi-Fi Compatibility: Supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless devices using compatible IEEE 802.11 standards. It is a Wi-Fi 5 router, not a Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7 model.
- Guest Network: The manufacturer's specifications list guest networking on the 2.4 GHz band.
- Internet Connection: Supports Dynamic IP, Static IP and PPPoE WAN connection types. Internet service and an appropriate upstream connection are required.
- Wireless Performance: The listed 867 Mbps and 300 Mbps figures are theoretical wireless link rates. Actual throughput and coverage depend on connected devices, interference, building materials and network conditions.
