After the apparent death of his daughter at the start of Thor: Love and Thunder, Gorr goes on a God-killing rampage.  Following the events of Avengers 4: Endgame, Thor is seen to be attempting to find inner peace, but must return to action and recruit Valkyrie, Korg, and Jane Foster (who has become the Mighty Thor) to stop Gorr the God Butcher from eliminating all gods.

With the demise of Gorr, Thor ends up adopting his daughter Love, and they end up traveling the Galaxy and helping the little guy’s out there.
