Purpose: For the artist to make his own (glazing) medium and as an ingredient for a paint formula. Composition: Linseed stand oil • Greatly increases the gloss and the drying time • Slightly yellowing (between poppy seed and linseed oil) • Can be thinned with white spirit or turpentine • Traditional glazing medium • Not to be used in lower coats when mixed with paint
